1. Service Overview
Meandly helps people explore cities and neighborhoods on foot through walk recording, route drawing, place and community content, profiles, follows, messaging, notifications, health data connections, and subscription features. Some features may be experimental or may vary by location, device, permission, network availability, and subscription status.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your account secure. You may not use another person’s account, provide false information to bypass safety features, or interfere with the service. Meandly is not directed to children under 13, and if your region requires a higher age to use online services, that higher age applies.
3. Walking and Safety
Routes, road matching, distance, time, calories, place suggestions, and community information are for reference only. Walkability, traffic, private property, construction, weather, safety conditions, and your health can change at any time. You are responsible for checking your surroundings and local rules before walking. Do not use Meandly as an emergency, medical, or guaranteed navigation safety service.
4. User Content
You are responsible for routes, photos, notes, comments, profile details, Bio, profile flags, visited-country context, community posts, messages, and reports that you create or send. Only upload content you have the right to share, and do not post content that violates another person’s privacy, location safety, likeness, copyrights, trademarks, reputation, or rights. Content you publish publicly may be visible to other users. You grant Meandly the limited rights needed to host, store, display, back up, translate, recommend, search, moderate, and create service previews for your content.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Meandly for illegal activity, harassment, hate or discrimination, sexual exploitation, threats, spam, fraud, phishing, malware, automated scraping, reverse engineering, abnormal external API cost generation, falsifying location or health data, stalking, or content that puts another person at risk. Meandly may hide or remove content, limit account features, suspend access, and cooperate with platform providers or authorities when appropriate.
6. Visibility and Messaging
You can adjust some visibility through public or private accounts, follow requests, blocking, saves and likes, and message requests. Content already published, delivered to another person, retained for safety reports, or required for legal or operational reasons may not disappear immediately. Messages are designed for conversation participants, but they may be reviewed when needed for reports, safety investigations, legal obligations, or technical operations.
7. Subscriptions and Paid Features
Paid features such as Meandly Pro may be provided through the App Store, Google Play, or a billing and subscription partner. The purchase screen and your app-store account settings control pricing, trials, renewal, cancellation, and refund availability. Features with higher operating costs, such as external road matching or premium route tools, may be subject to eligibility checks, fair-use limits, quotas, caching, or rate limits.
8. Intellectual Property
The Meandly app, brand, design, software, data structures, recommendation logic, and route-processing methods belong to Meandly or its licensors. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the service. You may not copy, resell, rent, modify, reverse engineer, or use Meandly branding in a confusing way without written permission.
9. Service Changes and Availability
Meandly may add, change, limit, or discontinue features and policies. Features may be temporarily unavailable because of security, abuse prevention, legal requirements, third-party provider outages, map or routing provider changes, server maintenance, or cost controls. We will try to communicate material changes in the app or through official channels when reasonable.
10. Disclaimers and Liability Limits
Meandly provides the service with reasonable care, but we do not guarantee route accuracy, place information, community content, health data, third-party map, payment, notification services, or uninterrupted access. To the extent allowed by law, Meandly may limit responsibility for losses caused by user conduct, third parties, network or device issues, external service outages, or content you publish or send.
11. Account Deletion and Contact
You may request account deletion through Settings > Delete Account or by contacting support@meandly.com. When an account is deleted, associated account data is also deleted, except where limited retention is needed for security, fraud prevention, disputes, billing records, legal obligations, backup recovery windows, or content already delivered to other users. Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@meandly.com.
